The Overholser Family Association (OFA) held its first family reunion in 1906 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Since then, except for the war years, the reunion has been held annually. The OFA reunion is currently held in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, during the first weekend in August each year. The specific days, times and location in Lancaster County of the OFA Reunion are announced in the second OFA Bulletin of the year, which is distributed in July (also identified as the Summer issue).
If you are not receiving the bulletin, visit the OFA Bulletin page and look for the latest Summer edition of the Bulletin. Meanwhile, we invite you to join us in any year for our Reunion. We will have food and space for one and all!
The details of the next reunion can be found in the most recent OFA Bulletin.
On August 2015 (date TBA), at 6:00 pm, we will begin our Reunion with a meal at Yoder’s Resturant in New Holland PA. The meeting room is at the back of the dining room. Those coming long distance can spend extra time getting to know us, and getting their questions answered. Some locals come on Friday Night because they cannot make it on Saturday.
On August 2015 (date TBA), we will have our regular OFA Reunion at St. John’s Center United Church of Christ, east of Terre Hill on Route 625. We begin arriving before 10:30 am, with lunch at around 12 noon. Main dish provided for lunch. Bring condiments or desert if you wish. If you plan to attend the get together at Yoder’s, please notify Carolyn Kendall in advance so she can make the reservations:
